As the Project Manager, I managed the design process, approvals, prototyping, production, and installation of Nike Sustainability and Innovation Exhibit located in Steve Prefontaine Hall on Nike’s World Campus. Two internal Nike teams collaborated to bring this exhibit to life; Workplace Design + Connectivity (WD+C) and Sustainable Business and Innovation (SB+I.) I acted as the conduit between the two groups, gathering content and assets from SB+I, while managing the exhibit design process. The exhibit’s premier feature was an installation of recycled Flyknit material, equaling 100 miles of string, suspended through a false ceiling. As the producer, I worked closely with the Production and Install agency to validate the design and execution through all junctures of prototyping, production, and install. Along with the Creative Director, we ensured that users would move through the exhibit in a coherent manner, while receiving the full story being told. Information was delivered in both an active manner (small exhibits with touch and feel elements) as well as a passive manner (tonal-colored statistics stenciled on walls that could also read as textural.) The exhibit was open to the public and remained for 8 months.
